Softwind did an amazing job and very nice staff. They ripped up the old landscaping and made my new lawn look great. They made a Belgian block curb for me which came out great.

We were very pleased with our experience with Soft Wind! They were very easy to work with, from the first call to their office to the completion of our project. They did 2 projects simultaneously for us, a new front walkway and a rip out of all existing landscaping along the walkway and then all new landscaping. Unlike other companies we reached out to, they actually have someone who answers calls at their office. An estimate appointment was set up for the very next day and project quotes were sent to us the following morning. We needed our projects done by a certain date and they assured us they would get it done in time and they did! Communication was excellent, they are very responsive if you call or text with questions. Their landscape designer Emilio was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with, incorporating some plants that I wanted in the landscape and recommending other plants that helped to totally transform my front yard. I would definitely recommend Anthony and his Soft Wind team and I look forward to hiring them for future projects!

We’ve been a customer of Softwind landscaping for the past two years. They have seen us through every project from putting in 60 privacy trees, fencing, sprinklers, redoing our back lawn with topsoil and seed, gardening, mulch, and maintenance. We have been so happy working with them. Anthony is excellent, knowledgeable, honest and reliable his crew is neat, courteous, and professional.  we’ve done a lot of work in two years and that can be frightening financially. My wife and I moved to North Babylon a few years back. After purchasing our home, I tried to handle all of the Landscaping Tasks on my own. Unfortunately, it was a big Task and overwhelming. I met Anthony at Softwind, Shortly thereafter and I’ve been giving him projects Every year since then, aside from weekly lawn maintenance, my life has been so much easier, not worrying about Landscaping as the team at Softwind has taken his task off my plate. Their Work is clean and neat and their pricing is fair. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed to quote, Anthony never left me hanging. About a month ago, we had our entire lawn ripped and reseeded, along with other landscaping projects. They took their time And everything came out nice. Softwind Landscaping took a VERY overgrown ( with weeds) side lawn and a VERY messy and overgrown backyard garden and turned a truly horrible mess into a normal green lawn. They even removed our broken down greenhouse and our decrepit compost fence. Then they created three different areas with different types of plantings, and today they installed sprinklers. They also removed a cracked cement walk and broken stoop and put in the most beautiful stone stoop and paved walkway with a new railing and mailbox. The house looks 1000% better. I am thrilled with the results.

Softwind Landscape & Masonry are true professionals and visionaries. I finally decided to redo my driveway for spring 2024 and my front stoop which led to a new walkway and a similar one in my backyard which I extended. I was undecided on colors and just wasn’t sure which direction I wanted to go but talking to Anthony and Emilio, the vision came to life, and I appreciated their knowledge of the pavers which they use Cambridge (toffee onyx) which are excellent quality, and that company stands behind their product as well. Softwind uses only the best! My driveway with apron came out beautiful and the walkway is gorgeous. Against the elements of the weather, they worked around my timing and got it done efficiently without lacking quality. They work as if it’s their own home – think about that premise. It is a messy process with the materials and laying down the work, but they do pretty good clean up afterwards. We did have a bump with the stoop as I needed new framing, but Anthony was adamant about making sure he secured the area to avoid any future issues and placed a storm guard as well. I also needed help with landscaping design in my backyard which Emilio helped me with designing – nothing elaborate, but more than I would have done on my own and Anthony had a lot of input as well with the garden beds and relocating a bush plus advising on safety regarding removal and trimming of trees. He was very nice to work with and you may wonder about pricing because I had a lot done between my driveway, stoop, walkways, landscaping, tree work and even fence issues but he was fair, and I kept to my budget well as I wanted to get things done all at once so that helped with cost. I never felt pressured or anxious – they always put me at ease. I have them set to handle my landscaping needs for the year to include spring and fall cleanups, adding mulch and treating areas where I never had grass grow properly. Anthony connected me with a wonderful sprinkler company as well – nice, professional, and fairly priced. Softwind Landscape & Masonry is an all-in-one shop where you deal with a nice team, the owner is great, you get assistance if you’re unsure what you want or need a little guidance if you have an idea. They are really the best around and I am so happy I reached out to them to help beautify my home. As homeowners, you want to take pride in appearance of your home and Anthony, Emilio, Samantha and so many others on the team were really great and made an intimidating process an easy-breezy one. Exceeded expectations! Actually Anthony, Samantha and team raised our expectations by showing a wide range of options for our Masonry/Landscape project-then they exceeded those. End result on our project far surpassed our original ideas. Our property had many challenges with elevations, drainage issues and laying out masonry to encompass a pool surround higher than the rest of the property. Softwind presented a can do attitude and solutions for any and all issues. Other contractors we had pass through prior spent a lot of time talking about the difficulties. Softwind never balked at anything and was all about getting it done. They have the knowledge, personnel and machinery/equipment. Everything was handled expertly, timely while keeping my wife and I informed along the way. Communication was excellent!Anthony and Samantha led with possibilities and options for our property. An unexpected and very welcome situation unfolded when we noticed that the fellas dismantling the outgoing material, moving earth and installing new material were focusing on project direction. They were continually offering their insight and ideas. We loved the team approach! Influence from all who stepped on our property is visible when looking across the yard.We started out seeking a basic walkway and modest patio. Because of Softwind’s excellent ideas and capabilities, we are enjoying an expansive patio, new walkways, built in fire table (running on natural gas-no tank), surrounding masonry benches and a beautiful pool surround. All of it looks wonderful and was enhanced by material, color selections and border designs much of which were determined as we went along. That fine tuning paid off! We also had Softwind build an outdoor kitchen and replace an awning over a side entrance both of which are a work of art. My wife joked that I was trying to find more things for Softwind to do because I didn’t want them to leave. She was correct! We had great people on site and appreciate that they handled additional items when the project expanded.Softwind is also very connected to other contracting trades through their sister companies and friends. When we need work on a gas line and expanded electrical service those items were handled same day or next. Whatever comes up “they got a guy”.Softwind built us a yard that brings happiness each time we step out there. We wrapped up mid November and we can’t wait for spring to fully enjoy it!

The masonry portion of my project (new stoop, driveway, planters, walkways, patio and etc.) is just about complete and I have to say it looks fantastic! I can’t say enough good things about Anthony and the team at Softwind. They were here when they said they would be here and their work has been impeccable! I look forward to continuing the soft scape portion of the project in the spring.

Softwind has been taking care of our property for years, from weekly lawn care to routine maintenance, like fertilization, weeding, and trimming shrubs and trees. They also designed a lovely bed around our flagpole, and carried out lots of other projects. . Work is well done, workers are courteous and professional, and responses to inquiries and requests are prompt. Highly recommend them.

Update 10/17/24: We used them this year to install belgium blocks as a curb and it looks amazing. They leveled out the landscaping to the new curb and we’ve received a lot of compliments.Very professional. We’ve used them for years and for a variety of projects from tree and shrub landscaping and maintenance to weekly lawn services. Always punctual and at a fair price.

They are extremely respectful, responsible & courteous...one time, Emilio was supposed to come & give me an estimate...he called me about 15 minutes sooner than the time he was expected to tell me he would be a little late...most people don't even call & just show up 30 minutes later...I was very impressed...the crew does a nice job...as my neighbor now uses them too!!!

I couldn’t recommend Anthony, Emilio and the whole team at soft wind enough. They helped my wife and I through the entire design process and really made our vision a reality. Full service landscaping from our new patio and driveway to our new flowerbeds the team at Softwind was great to deal with and made the whole project incredibly easy on us.

Softwind Landscaping did work for me this month- Their work was excellent- - More than I expected- They redid a garden bed in the front of my home -replaced alberta Spruce trees- replanted some of my perenials and added many more to the bed- It looks great- The colors are so well coordinated. Emelio did a wonderful job in designing and also working very hard with Kevin(who is terrific)and a very hard worker- They had to remove alot of old rocks that I had in the bed and replace with mulch- When they finished it was so well cleaned up- did not know that work was done- Looks great- I would highly recommend them- They are also very responsive and prompt. I hired Softwind to do an entire front yard rip out, grade, sprinkler system install and seed last fall. The entire process start to finish with Anthony and his team was amazing. As a first time homeowner that was way in over her head I had a lot of questions and struggled making the right decision for my property. Anthony was extremely patient and answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. He helped guide me in the proper direction for my front yard and I’m absolutely loving the results!The job was a big one and spanned multiple days but at the end of each day the team made sure my yard was as clean as it could be before they left. There was only one very minor issue at the end of the project where they put grass seed in a spot they weren’t supposed to, but the team came back and corrected the issue quickly with no problems!Now that it’s spring and my grass has fully grown in I’m truly so happy and amazed at the results. My front yard went from a lawn full of weeds and crabgrass to a beautiful full lawn that I’m proud of! Thank you so much Anthony and the Softwind team! I’m not a client but I wanted to leave a 5 star review. These guys did a huge clean up for a neighbor of mine, they parked their trucks in front of my house. I thought for sure they would leave behind a mess for me to clean up (which I usually don’t care too much about but I just had my clean up yesterday) but there wasn’t a leaf left behind. This goes to show what pride this company takes in their work and speaks volumes about respecting others (even if they’re not a client). Good work!

In preparation for a family gathering, I needed my yard trimmed and cleaned asap. I called Softwinds and they sent someone over that day to give me an estimate. The estimate was fair and equitable and I was promised that it would be done that week. The NEXT DAY, at 7:30 in the morning, two trucks and five men swept onto my property and in five hours completed what would have taken me more than a week to complete. I highly recommend their services and already have to everyone who has asked.

Softwind provides great quality work and very reasonable prices. We had our stoop, columns and railings replaced. We were very concerned with staying within budget. We did so and the result of the construction was fantastic. We are very happy.

Perfect works

I’m very happy I went with the first company I called. We completely transformed my backyard from a forest/ dump ground , to an actual beautiful backyard so now I can have parties and a beautiful place to hang out. The crew is great!! absolutely would recommend the crew, not only were they professional and personable, they cleaned up after themselves and didn’t leave me with a mess after each day of work, which that was important to me!
